Raiply Malawi
Raiply Malawi is the country’s largest wood processing company, operating from Chikangawa with a workforce of 2,400+. Raiply produces plywood, block boards, flush doors, particle boards, and MDF—including an MDF line of around 200 m³/day—and exports a significant portion of its products, strengthening Malawi’s trade balance.
Forest Stewardship: Chikangawa Concession
Raiply holds and manages a 20,000+-hectare concession in the Chikangawa Forest. The company has replanted thousands of hectares to date and continues annual planting (≈500 hectares). Full lifecycle forestry management covers nursery development, thinning, harvesting, road construction and maintenance, fire prevention, and silviculture—a closed loop that sustains both forest health and industrial supply.
Quality, Safety & Community
Raiply Malawi runs documented SOPs across manufacturing lines, with calibrated testing for board strength and dimensional tolerances. Safety is non-negotiable—PPE, training, and drills keep teams ready and operations reliable. Community investment includes employment, local procurement, road maintenance around Chikangawa, and skills transfer programs.
